Job description

    Production Supervisor shall oversee production operations and guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. He/She is responsible for increasing productivity with innovative methods and motivating staff to perform better.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

● Bachelor’s Degree holder in Food Science & Technology, Business, Management or Engineering

● Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar position

● Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools

● Ability to take in and work with complex and technical information

● Excellent IT skills and proficient in MS Office

● Must be able to work in various temperatures

● Analytical skills and keen attention to detail

● Time management skills

● Excellent problem-solving skills

● Organizational and leadership abilities

● Strong oral/ written communication and interpersonal skills

● Dependable knowledge in GMP, SSOP, and HACCP

Preferred

● Graduate of B.S. Food Technology / Food Science & Technology

● 3-5 years supervisory experience in a food manufacturing company

● 3-5 years experience using any ERP system

Duties and Responsibilities

● Helps manufacturing staff achieve company goals by communicating expectations, planning,

monitoring, and evaluating job results

● Enforces company policies and guidelines

● Recruits, hires, and trains employees

● Assists workers by offering personal growth opportunities

● Implements cost-saving strategies and techniques

● Ensures that production plans are completed by a certain time

● Contacts appropriate sources for repair issues

● Counsels employees on how to achieve an optimal output or workflow

● Resolves issues and disputes between manufacturing employees

● Creates and maintains professional schedules

● Communicates with and assists other manufacturing departments as needed

● Evaluates the condition of production equipment

● Maintains a clean and safe environment for all workers

● Compiles and analyzes production records

● Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements

● Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards

Other functions and responsibilities:

● Attend meetings, inventory count, workshops, trials and training, as needed.

● Perform other duties as assigned.
