DYNAMIC OF THE ROLE (Responsibilities and Accountabilities of the Job)
The IT Staff is responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly. IT Staff monitors and maintains the company computer systems, installs and configures hardware and software, and solves technical problems.
HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE (The value that the person will add)
- Develops and implement IT Policy and best practice guides for the organization
- Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including systems updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
- Ensure security of data, network access, firewall and backup systems
- Preserve assets, information security and control structures
- Audit systems and assess their outcomes
- Propose or plan network set-up configuration to compliment the requirements for the system implementation
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Set-up and manage network servers and workstations
- Coordinate with the project manager for the system development.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING (Qualifications)
- BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
- Knowledge in following:
- Cisco Switch and Router
- Sophos Firewall and Endpoint
- PABX Telephone
- Managing and Creating Server
- Advance Hardware and Software Support
- Advance Network Configuration
- With experience / training in databases, networks (LAN / WAN) and patch management
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware and software systems
- Systems security and data back up / recovery
- With at least with 4 years experience if the position
