DYNAMIC OF THE ROLE (Responsibilities and Accountabilities of the Job)
The FACILITIES SUPERVISOR oversees all aspects of building functions and guarantees the safety and functionality of all facilities. Duties include running routine safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records, and supervising facilities staff. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in facilities management processes and exhibits high multitasking and organizational abilities.
OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE
- Ensure all building facilities are conducive for work (including all company offices—2 in Ortigas, 1 in BGC, 1 in Cavite, and 1 in Cebu).
- Ensure all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures.
- Maintain equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety requirements.
- Organize and plan building instalments and refurbishments.
- Supervise facilities staff and communicate with external contractors and vendors.
- Handle insurance contracts.
- Manage the relationship with building landlords.
- Manage the relationships with facilities-related vendors.
- Keep building and all facilities up to code and accurately follow maintenance protocol.
HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE (The value that the person will add)
- Be responsible for the day-to-day implementation and control of food safety.
- Ensure that all records and systems about food safety are maintained.
- Ensure that all staff will follow all personal hygiene rules
- Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and free from pests.
- Ensure that all staff is trained in food handling techniques and the requirements of the food safety policy.
- Be qualified to implement and review food handling techniques and the requirements.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING (Qualifications)
- At least 5 years of experience working in a similar role
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of building systems (including but not limited to HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing)
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles
- Great leadership and problem-solving skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential, or equivalent
- Experience planning and maintaining facility budgets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional leadership experience
- Contract handling experience
- Strong attention to detail
