LEG, BONE IN

Bone-in lamb leg is a large and impressive cut that comes from the back haunches of the animal, and it usually weighs anywhere from 5 to 7 pounds (a larger leg will serve up to 12 people). A boneless leg of lamb will weigh about 2 pounds less. Lamb leg is usually sold without the shank.
